Put all the syrup ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and reduce the liquid by half. Filter through a sieve. Let cool.
Put the fruit in a bowl and pour the syrup. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Serve the macerated fruit in cups with a bit of syrup. Top with whipped cream or yogurt, mint leaves and edible flowers.
